SimpleCater IQ Set Up

SimpleMeals IQ Sign Up

Welcome! You're officially a SimpleMeals Vendor. 

You should've received a link to create your virtual food hall on SimpleMeals IQ. Please register using the sign up form. you can also access it my clicking "join SimpleMeals" at the bottom left of the SimpleMeals IQ. The e signup form is mandatory to list the restaurants on SimpleMeals IQ and to manage the restaurant menu items and other various information to allow customers to place order.

Once sign up has been completed and email verified, someone from the SimpleMeals team will review the application.  You will receive an email when the account has been approved. 

IQ Set Up

The SimpleMeals team will handle the initial set up. Please send us an email with important information such us: logo, address, contact person, meal kit options and recipes.

Vendor Dashboard

The dashboard provides the following information:

1. Total Completed Orders: It will display the total count of orders from all restaurants listed which have been marked as delivered.

2. Total Sales: It will display the total count of the sale generated from all the restaurants of a merchant.

3. Reviews: It will display the total count of reviews & ratings posted by the users on all restaurants.

My Account

Under account, you may edit basic account information such as name, phone number, email address and change password

Whenever you make a change, make sure you click "save" at the bottom of the page, otherwise nothing will save.

Managing Users

On click of Add New link, admin can add a new restaurant user by filling up below details:

Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the delivery staff member.

Click on the lock icon to change password of the delivery staff member. 

Restaurant: Merchant will assign 1 restaurant to a restaurant user.

Status: (Active/Inactive)

Managing Drivers

In this section, restaurant can view and manage delivery staffs who deliver the orders of the restaurants. NOTE if SimpleMeals is handling your deliveries, you don't have to worry about this section.

Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the delivery staff member.

Click on the lock icon to change password of the delivery staff member.

Restaurants can also change the status of any delivery staff as “Active” or “Inactive".

Click Add New to add a new delivery staff member.

Restaurant Dashboard

On dashboard, click the "edit" icon on a restaurant to access the restaurant dashboard. 

On this page you can view and manage the restaurant details, menu item information, delivery locations and menu prices and other important information.

On restaurant dashboard, merchant can view:

Total Sales : The total sale generated by the rerstaurant.
Total Orders: Total order count placed for the restaurant.
Total Completed Orders: Total order count marked as delivered.
Total Reviews: Total reviews & ratings posted by the user for a restaurant. Admin can also reply to reviews. 
Active Offers: Total offers/coupons count currently active for the restaurant.

Restaurant Details

Click the "restaurant details"  tab to edit important information such as: Restaurant Details, Timings, Tax Charges, Delivery Charges, Location.

Timings

On Timings section, Restaurants can control the delivery, order, preparation and restaurant timings.

 By default SimpleMeals set you to only receive meal kit orders for the next day or further in the future.  

If you are able to provide meal kits within a same day you can establish your establishment’s operational hours including association with menu items

Payment With Stripe

From the main dashboard select your restaurant / edit.

1) On the left navigation panel at the bottom you will see TRANSACTION > Transaction History.
2) Go there and then on the top right you will CONNECT STRIPE.
3) Fill out the needed information and create your STRIPE account (make sure to store for future access)

Delivery Charges

On the Delivery Charges section, restaurants can manage delivery areas as well as delivery charges. NOTE if SimpleMeals is handling your deliveries, you don't have to worry about this section.

Locations

On the Location section, restaurants can specify the restaurant location on a Google map by repositioning or drag & drop the pointer onto the accurate address of the restaurant.

Menu Set Up

Menu Group

In this section, restaurant will add the menu groups of the menu items such as appetizers,  entrees, sides, desserts, drinks.

Click on the pencil  icon to edit the details of the menu groups.

Click on the lightbulb icon to change the status of the menu group as “Active” or “Inactive”.

On click of Add More link to add more menu groups in the list. To add a menu group, complete the following fields:

Menu Group Name
Timings (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snacks/All Time)
Status (Active/Inactive)

Quantity Group

In this section, restaurant can add the quantity groups of the menu items such as half, full, quarter etc. Please see the screenshot below:

Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the quantity groups.

Click on the lightbulb icon to edit the status of quantity group as “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click on "Add New" to add more quantity groups in the list. To add a quantity group, complete the following details:

Topping Group

In this section, restaurants will add the Topping Groups of the menu items such as Cheese, Spices etc.

Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the quantity groups.

Click on the lightbulb icon to edit the status of quantity group as “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click on the "Add New" link to add more toppings groups to the list. To add a topping group complete the following information:

In this section, restaurants can add the Topping  of the menu items such as Cheddar Cheese, Chicken, Guacamole, etc.

Menu Items

In this section, restaurants can add the specific Menu items of the restaurants such as Arroz con Pollo, Club Sandwich, Tomato Soup, etc. 

Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the quantity groups.

Click on the lightbulb icon to edit the status of quantity group as “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click on "Add More" link to add more menu items to the list. To add a menu item, restaurants must complete the following information:

Offer Set Up

Offers

In this section, restaurants can set up offers/coupons that will be applied on total order value at checkout.

The offers/coupons added by the merchant are sent to the admin for the approval and after it’s approved, they are listed on the restaurant detail page. 

Creating an Offer

Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the offers.

Click on the eye icon to view the details of the offers.

Click on "Add More" link to add more restaurants on the list. To add a new offer, restaurants must complete the following information: 

Code: Restaurant will add a unique coupon code redeemable at checkout.
Description: Restaurant will add the offer description.
Discount Type (Fixed/Percentage): Restaurant can choose if the coupon will be applied as fixed or
in percentage.
Discount: Restaurant will define the discount price on the coupon code.
Coupon Limit: The limit will define the total coupons which are redeemable on the restaurant, after that it will not be displayed on the restaurant.
Weekday Specific (Yes/No):
If Yes, merchant can define particular days of the week on which the offer will be valid.
If No, the offer will be valid throughout the week.
Minimum Order Amount: Restauran can define a minimum order amount  for the offer to be valid/applied.
Start Date: Restaurant can define the start date of the offer.
End Date: Restauran can define the end date of the offer after which the offer will not be valid.

Managing Orders

In this section, restaurants can view and manage the orders received for the restaurants.

Click "View" the button to view order details.

Restaurant can assign the order to a delivery driver registered with the restaurant. The delivery driver will be notified via email or mobile app push notification about the order assignment.

Restaurant can also change the order to Pending, In Process, Cancelled or Delivered. 

On successfully delivery, delivery driver can mark the status of order as “Delivered” which will be displayed on buyer and restaurant side too.
